Still crazy busy but I got some work done on Killjoy. I wanted him to look nasty and bloody. I'm pretty happy with his look. There are a couple of other things that could be done but for the table he's solid and ready to chop up some suckas.
Tonight I'll be playing so more Malifaux.. I played in a Tourney two weekends ago and got crushed haha.. sadly I hadn't played in about 9 months and was trying to learn how Molly worked. She's a pretty fun master but sadly I really don't like any other Rezzer Masters so I'll probably be switching back to either Guild or going Neverborn.
Either way it's a fun game and I enjoy actually getting to play. The Kickstart is running strong and I got the big Theatre building done. Now it's just a few small things here and there. Here's a couple of pics of the Theatre, I wanted it to have tons of details.

Only mostly dead..
So .. I've actually been able to get some painting done .. It's been awhile and then I've had to jump back in with reckless abandon. I'm going to be playing in a Malifaux Tourney this weekend and then going to be playing again two days after that. I haven't played a full real game of Malifaux in about 9 months. I just don't have the time anymore 8( .. Kids.. Work .. and now add in laser cutting .. If I was smart I'd just play one of my completed crews.. Sonnia being the smartest since I know how to play her well but no.. I've been wanting to get Molly on the table so I'm going to be running her.. Never played her before so it will be interesting.. I just don't want to slow play, If I can't do it quick I'll just have to guess quickly. haha
That being said I also didn't have her or the models I wanted to use painted or even built. So starting last Friday I went on a tear and have gotten a good bit of work done. They aren't anywhere near complete but they are getting there. I need to work on the flesh tones and cleaning up a lot of the models.I have a hard time playing with non painted models... it really bothers me. I like to be interested I guess 8)
That being said I only had about a week so any spare time I've been rocking these out. They look decent for a weeks bit of work and I'm happy they will be on the table with color 8)
I love the story behind Molly and there are some very cool tricks she can do.. we'll see if I can pull them off 8) .. Her dress still needs a lot of blend work but it'll have to do for now.

I want her crew (but not her so much) to look grimy, I want them to look dirty so I'm trying to play around with the colors to get the right look, I like the vibrant colors but they also have to be dirty and muted in some areas. A tough balance 8) .. I'm still looking at my list though .. what do I want to bring and what do I want to summon in. Either way it will be fun to get them on the table ...

Time Keeps on Slipping...
Hey all,.. been awhile.. every time I thought I'd be able to post something ,. something else jumped in and ate up that time. I've been pretty busy getting ready for our Black Maria Designs Kickstarter.
Black Maria Designs Kickstarter <--- If you are interested
It went live last night and we are almost done with our prototyping. I only have one more building to finish and then I'll have some more time to paint and get my blogging on .. and reading on. I've been completely out of the loop. The Holiday season is a busy time for me, mix in some illness and slaving away in Illustrator getting these pieces knocked out I haven't had time to spare.
I created the Boom Town section of the kickstarter and wanted to have a full table worth to put out there. If you play Malifaux there is enough to fully stock a table and more. We haven't played a few test games using the terrain and I'm very happy with it's playability. We've also received a lot of praise from other players which is awesome. When making the buildings I wanted them to be both function and visibly pleasing. I like to hide as much of the joining areas as possible and used a double walled design to add detail and sturdiness. My buildings are solid and have some heft to them.
These buildings are modular and you can swap the tops or make them 1 story if you don't want the second level for a game. I also made up window sills, shutters and for I made up boarded up pieces that will be part of an upgrade pack.
Outhouse, horse hitch and water troughs.
The Barn has working sliding doors on each side, the top is removable so you can get inside. I really wanted to add a lot of details to these pieces. Check out the Kickstarter for all of the pieces if interested.
We put the Kickstarter up last night and we've already made out first goal, we'll see how far it goes!
Tomorrow I'll hopefully get some models posted.. i'm trying to knock out a Molly Crew for a Tourney this weekend. I haven't played my lately and I've never played Molly but I'm just looking to get some games in and have some fun!...
